Faithful Father, Loving Savior

LORD, how faithful You have been
So faithful, beyond what mankind deserves.
You give the breath of life,
Your love is boundless,
And you;
Gracious, compassionate, merciful
So merciful!

All my days, let me sing of your mercy
You have spared my life though I lacked understanding
All my days, let me tell of Your love
You have fought for me though I walked in rebellion

In Your love, You sent Your Son Jesus
In Your love, You draw men unto Him
In Your love, You rescue us from darkness

Where would I be if You didn’t fight for me
Surely, I would be eternally separated from my Creator
Never to know Him

But not so is my portion
For You fought for me and won
In Your victory, I have eternal life
And this is eternal life,
That I may know you Lord

To know the Lord is the best gift man can have
And this I have received through Christ Jesus
You who loved me and gave Yourself for me!
